Abstract

Alquran as a guidance has many aspects encouraging the quality of human resources, like educational aspect. Alquran gives an advice about the education in order to make that human being has a good and strong mentality. The educational value of Luqman al-Hakim described in surah Luqman [31] contains several aspects: Firstly, the belief or faith building aspect as a basic principle in Islam. The doctrine of Luqman that is reflected clearly in the surah Luqman [31]: 13; Secondly, ritual aspect as described in the verse 17 which leads his son persuasively to pray as a form of the faith; Thirdly, character building aspect which is described in the verses 14, 15, and 18. Luqman stimulates his son to respect his parents and to treat his personal apparent nicely in daily life; Fourthly, personal and social building aspect that takes a long time, from the fetus till 21 years old. This case can be understood from verse 16 in surah Luqman.

Abstract

This article explains the view of Islam on disaster. The author uses nine terms that represent the whole picture of disaster in Islamic‟s point of view. The terms are zhulumât, al-kubar, al-karb, sû', nailan, 'adzâb, sayyi'ah, dâ'irah, dan mushîbah. There are six kinds of disaster that mentioned in the Quran: flood, earthquake, hail, drought, and hunger. On the other hand, there are eight Ada delapan wisdoms from disaster.

Abstract

This article examines what so called peace verses of the Holy Quran. The verses are searched through the digital Quran, classified, and explained properly to get the appropriate meaning. This study then concludes that there are a lot of verses in the Quran teach peace. This hopefully will make peace as one of the prioritize point in making decision for Islamic society

Abstract

Developing the quranic generation is an important issue in Islam. This issue relates to the family, community, as well as the nation. Alquran as a compelte guidance book, also talks about this issue. Islam argues that the generation should be tought by what so called fitrah, so they can be a pious generation of the future.Membentuk generasi Qurani lewat pendidikan anak menurut Al-Qur’an, lebih merupakan permasalahan yang mendasar dalam kehidupan keluarga, masyarakat dan bangsa. Dalam kehidupan seorang manusia masa anak-anak merupakan masa peletakan dasar kepribadian yang akan menentukan perkembangan kepribadiannya dimasa dewasa sampai menjadi orang tua.Di dalam agama Islam, melalui sumber ajaran utamanya yaitu Al-Qur’an, masalah pendidikan anak mendapat perhatian yang serius. Alquran sebagai kitab suci yang lengkap memuat konsep pendidikan anak yang sesuai dengan fitrah hidup manusia. Konsep pendidikan anak tersebut tentuanya memberi harapan bahwa anak akan tumbuh secara wajar dan secara pasti menuju terbentuknya kepribadian seorang manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa dan disinilah kami akan membahasnya dengan judul “Membentuk Generasi Qurani lewat Pendidikan Anak menurut al-Qur’an”

Abstract

Alquran denying the contradiction among its verses. However, we realize that there are some contradictive verses of the Quran in terms of the zahir. To understand the verses, the majority of ulama, use many method, including the naskh. Some ulama say that the naskh concept in Islam to understand Alquran is not a debatable fact. But this article tries to argue against it.
